David Lipka

The Zhi Partnership offers bespoke programmes for empowering people to deal with change and challenge, devised by David Lipka, a practitioner in Tai Chi and Shiatsu, and Mike Higginbottom, an Empowerment Trainer with a background in education. Zhi offers businesses, individuals and institutions the essential support required when moving through a process of change and helps to maximise potential individually and collectively. Programmes work equally well whether or not the individuals in the group are previously known to each other. They can be designed individually for companies and educational institutions with specific agendas e.g. teambuilding, leadership training, dealing with conflict, system-change and redundancy etc. Stand alone courses run over two days are also available for individuals wishing to re-evaluate their positions in relation to change in their lives and take more control of the process. < Programmes consist of a mixture of physical activities (drawn from the disciplines of Tai Chi and Shiatsu) to help understand the ways we react to different situations, present ourselves and “read” others’ body language and Empowerment training which helps people to make the most of their abilities and opportunities by understanding how thoughts and emotions affect performance practising confronting uncertainty and tapping into personal power, relating past successful experiences to future challenges and enlisting support to ensure consistent positive progress.
