Russian slab!!
Cooplands is the only place I know in Sheffield which sells Russian slab cake. It looks like it's made from lots of leftover cake (and probably has!) and it has a sticky fondant icing on the top. I love this cake and I have to buy some each time I pass by.As well as this unique cake they sell the usual bread,loads of buns, sandwiches and hot pasties and sausage rolls etc. Their prices are very good considering their location in the town centre.They cater for the lunchtime workers who buy their sandwiches for lunches.I notice that they also make wedding and birthday cakes to order.A great shop!
