Brief description

Repair and restoration of antique furniture. French polishing, done by hand, and other traditional finishes such as varnish, wax and oil. Re-colouring. Treatment of scratches, stains and other blemishes. Veneering and repair of veneers and inlays. Repair of wobbly or broken joints. Wood carving and turning. Replacement of missing pieces such as mouldings. Cane and rush seating. I am happy to work on more modern furniture as well as antique furniture. I will come to your house and give a free estimate (in Sheffield area). Collection and delivery service if required.
