  My dogs have been coming here for years: Their are loads of Kennels and Cattery’s in the Chesterfield area this one is simply the best. Kind and friendly staff, very reasonably priced, great location, very flexible, great advice.

  I booked my two Patterdales and cat Into Hickinwood it was there first time in Kennels, my reasons for choosing Hickinwood was because of the professionalism of the owner Karyn. She was brilliant very reassuring and her facilities were more than adequate and not expensive for the service she provided, my pets liked her from the bat and had a great stay I will definitely be using Hickinwood Kennels and Cattery again.

  I have boarded my cats here for the last 4yrs and I have always been very happy with their care. Hickingwood is also reasonably priced.

  I can highly recommend Hickingwood .We have used the kennels over the past few years & have had excellent service. As our dogs are needing more specilised care now I can always depend on this being delivered.

• Finn German Shepherd

  We left our German Shepherd Finn at Hickingwood in May 2007, he was 7 months old and we were anxious about leaving him. On visiting the kennels we found Karyn calm, polite and very informative. I rang her several times before and during our holiday and on every occasion she was more than happy to talk and reassure us that Finn would be ok. Returning from Holiday we found he was fine, excited well fed and seemed happy. We have booked him in again.
