We are the only voluntary organisation providing specialist products and services for visually impaired people in Sheffield. We have been in existence since 1860 and our services, operated by trained staff, are supported by a large group of volunteers.
Services Offered:A wide range of services for people with sight loss. Community Advice Service, Welfare Rights, Shop selling specialist products for blind and partially sighted people, activity centre providing social and leisure activities, agent for RNIB Talking Book Service and British Wireless for the Blind Fund, Residential Home for elderly blind people.
Awards/Ratings/Associations:Member of NALSVI (National Association of Local Societies for Visually Imapired People), Investing in Volunteers Accreditation.
