  great find- only complaint was that I had booked the special offer and when it came to pay I paid full price and no explanation before hand which has left me slightly disappointed as an extra 25.00 is quite a sum when I was told by the receptionist the week before when I visited to book in how much I would be charged.

• vanilla experience

  Just popped in by chance when I needed a new hairdresser. That was 2/3 years ago and been going ever since. Ashley and Philip are great stylists, both listening to ideas about your style and making it happen. Everyone is very friendly, it's a nice place to go.

  After really bad service at another salon - i found Vanilla by chance - the welcome was warm and embracing and the salon has a great embience. I felt incredible after being treated as a person - Thank you !!!!

• Philip is the best

  I followed Philip here from La Coupe, he is a fantastic hairdresser, and would follow him to the ends of the earth, he always does my colour rather than pass me off to someone else, which i love, hes great
