Afterschool Maths and English and Science tuition for children of all ages and abilities up to GCSE. I aim to improve confidence and ability and achievement of all students. Help with university assignments and theses, etc.
Key Stage 1
Younger children learn best through play rather than completing endless sheet of computation and filling in gaps in English worksheets.
I had had great success using cards, puzzles, games, weighing scales, home-made mini-trebuchets artifacts, dramatisation, etc, to create interest, generate decision making, to bring learning alive, to engage the student. Learning then becomes both fun and relevant to life.
